Restorative techniques to accelerate healing and recovery from injury or illness

Heal Faster and Restore Wellness

If your mind, body or spirit becomes compromised—whether by injury or by illness—then the systemic ripple effect can be profound.

Mind-Body-Spirit is a zero sum game. In other words, when the strength of one is equal to the weakness of the others, then whole body health is not possible.

Bringing mind, body and spirit into alignment is the best way to heal faster. But at times, doing so can feel impossible because the journey toward wellness is often frustrating, painful and lonely.

Thankfully, you have a healing tool that’s within immediate reach, and it’s not medication or rehabilitation or therapy.

For a dose of inspiration and education, sign up to read Kip Flock’s story of his journey from catastrophe toward mastery of mind, body and spirit. Learn tips to restore health and wellness in the face of physical, psychological or spiritual challenge.

More about Kip’s story

I had gone to the movies with my grandchildren. They live about a mile from the theater, so I dropped them off and then headed home. That’s the last thing I remember.

I woke up in total confusion. In an unknowing instant, I was hurled into the next phase of my life, which demanded reconstituting my body from head to toe while working through the brutal uncertainty about my future ability to function.

I didn’t know what had happened until the trauma team explained that I was in a near-fatal, head-on collision. When the paramedics brought me into the emergency room, I was in critical condition with multiple fractured ribs and vertebrae; a broken leg, sternum and wrist; a collapsed lung; internal bleeding and dangerous fluid buildup around my heart.

My treatment team provided superb medical attention. But, when I became aware of the extent of my injuries, I chose to fortify their care with the healing practices of mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and brain science. I had successfully used these with hundreds of clients. Suddenly, amidst indescribable pain and waves of panic, they became essential to my own recovery. In fact, they accelerated it.

My surgeon, Joel Klena, MD, marveled at my resilience…

Kip is a super star. He healed from one of the worst wrist fractures that I’ve seen in 15 years of practice in half the time it took another patient with a similar injury.
